Newly uploaded to the Forth in Praise website:

  • Some Christmas carols for beginner organists (these are samples from the forthcoming Forth in Praise 100 Easy Hymns)
  • The Forth in Praise Composers’ checklist – outcome of our Composers’ Workshop last month
  • ‘Research’ into ICEL hyphenation – with some surprises!

All of these can be found on the Downloads and Publications page of this website.

Oh, and did I mention my own little Mass setting made up of Christmas carols?  I put it together last year because I’ve always thought it would be nice to have Mass parts that sounded Christmassy.  It isn’t brilliant, but maybe worth a look.  Find it here.  My own choir have dusted it off and are doing it again this year, bless them.
